Garnier just launched their latest , all-new body lotion! It's the new Garnier Body NutriRepair Repairing Milk Lotion! I am very glad that I get the chance to review this. Thanks to Loreal company!

What's so special of this lotion?

• It consists of moisturising properties, fortified with Mango Extract, a natural emollient rich in essential nutrients that deeply nourishes and hydrates your skin.

• Another effective ingredient - L-Bifidus known as probiotics. L-Bifidus is obtained from a bacteria of the species bifidobacterium longum, which after being processed works on skin to prevent hypersensitivity and dryness while building up skin's barrier function ands strengthening it. Therefore, it helps to lock moisture in your skin for a longer time.

• Moisture and protects your skin at just one application. It 'feed's skin with essential nutreitns it needs to renew and regenerate with, giving you not only comfortable skin that lasts through the hours, at the same time repair rough and dry skin conditions.
  

My experience:

Applied arnier Body NutriRepair Repairing Milk Lotion on my right leg. My legs are usually dry and rough, as I didnt take proper care of them. :(

After application: Skin surface turns smooth and extremely soft and looking radiant and healthy. No more rough skin (the left leg you can see rough skin texture) and non-greasy at all. Personally, I don't favor body lotion that has a greasy after-feel, it will make me feeling uncomfortable all day long. But this type of texture leave my skin feeling great all day! So this will be in my 'keep' list! :)

Indulgence Event, Kiehl's Pajama party, SATC2

I was very lucky to be invited to last friday Indulgence event organised by KLCC. The event started around 5.30pm and ends around 6.30pm @ The Apartment, KLCC. When i was there, I saw some familiar faces, Fatin, Rane, Kelly, and Cia Wei! We were fed with finger food, and some delicious cheese cakes and mini cream puffs.

The event started off with the talk of Talika - a new brand in town came from Paris! Talika's products are mostly eye care. One of their best seller - Talika's Lipocils - treatments for eye lashes - it extends, restores colors and more curls on eye lashes. Up to 36% longer in 28 days! Lipocils Expert contains 12 plant extracts in it. The Eye Dream is a rejuvenating and hydrating eye masks.

Next on the list, RMk makeup demo on their latest gel emulsion foundation!

The texture is smoother than the normal powder type foundation. It feels creamy and moist at first but dries down to a nice lightweight smooth powdery finish after application.

We get to test on the RMK gel emulsion and Spring collection Isssey Miyake EDT for men and woman. The green bottle is for men (RM215), and the purple bottle is for women (RM228).


Followed by Fashion shows by BCBG (pic above), and Miss Sixty (pic below), am a very big fan of BCBG fashion...love their gorgeous dresses...

Unfortunately, they left long before we reach there. Tresor in Love perfume bottle is pretty and am so in love with the powdery scent! The set on the right sellin @ RM260 in Parkson, KLCC.

Next stop, Kiehl's Isetan - Pajama party! They're launching the new Midnight Recovery Concentrate! Again here, we were fed with finger food, and fruity drinks, and a goodie bag which entitle us for the free movie, and free popcorn and Coke, a booklet of discount vouchers a Delipscious lipstick frm Body Shop! Sex in the city 2 is hilariously funny and is great to watch with your gal frens to have a good laugh together!

Clinique - Passport to pretty event

Found this event @ Miu's blog. I was out in 1utama yesterday, found their roadshow just right outside Charles and Keith's shop.

A malay male consultant attend to me, ask a series of question concerning my face. One of the question, he asked that if I did not apply sunblock, did my face feel red or turn darker the day itself or next day. I told him i never go out without my sunblock, but he asked again what if?....hmm..

Anyway, he concluded my skin is dry/combination type, but lack of water. So he intro me the basic 3-step skincare system frm Clinique which suits my skin. He did a demo of all the following products on my hand.

Step 1: Cleansing soap liquid: mild

Step 2: Clarifyin lotion no.2
This one works as toner and also act as first layer exfoliate. According to the consultant, double exfoliate - scrub. He said we should exfoliate using tis toner twice a day, so the next step = moisturiser can be fully absorb to the skin.

Step 3: Dramatically different - moisturising lotion
I did see a dramatic result on 2 hands, one hand of mine has exfoliate, and put on this moisturiser, is very fast absorbing..only a few rubs/ massage into the hand.
Another hand, without exfoliate, when apply the moisturiser, needed to massage more so it takes longer time to absorb into the skin. Therefore, a exfoliate skin, will get deeper penetration of the moisturiser.

After the basic 3 step skincare, he introduced a 3 whitening products. They are Derma white Brightening Essence, Micro-motion C- Serum, and Derma White Sunblock.

This Micro motion C serum - it has rollers on it, for you to massage the serum into the spots/pigmentation area.

Derma white sunblock.


This is an additional add-on for my dehydration skin. One of Clinique's best seller - Moisture Surge, the texture is quite watery, and not oily, suitable for thirsty skin like mine.


Lastly, I asked him to show me one of their talk of the town long lasting lip balm which most runway models used for their chap lips. He showed me this lip treatment superbalm, this is not in their cosmetic range, but under their skincare range. This little tube cost RM50, good things comes in small quantity??

I tried the lip treatment, always have chapped lips on the upper lip. I prefer this than Kiehl's lip balm, tis is not as oily as Kiehl's, pretty uncomfy feelin on my lips.probably the texture. Clinique's lip treatment has lip gloss shiny effect and well moisturised.

At the end of the consultation, I was handed a Clinique mini lipstick in twighlight nude color. The color is similar to a peach color.
