Robot Popping Dance!

Today while i was shopping @ Tangs Empire Subang, suddenly next to me a guy with jacket and dark glasses started to move his body like a robot and dance to the beat in robot popping style. This is also one of the street dance style. Some info from wikipedia: It is based on the technique of quickly contracting and relaxing muscles to cause a jerk in the dancer's body, referred to as a pop, tick or a hit. This is done continuously to the rhythm of a song in combination with various movements and poses.

Most customers including me find this amazing, and would stop our shopping and enjoy the show. I think this idea is interesting, Tangs is providing some entertainment for their customers to enjoy, in conjunction with their Anniversary Sale. Brilliant! I saw some of the customers started to take pictures and film the dancers. There are only 2 dancers, started from lower floor then proceed to the 2nd floor.

I have upload a video of the dancers in Tangs Empire. Check it out!

It's funny and what a co-incident that I saw this robot dance performance happened in Tangs right infront of my eyes. Becoz last nite I watched Step UP in 3D in MV!! I was totally thrilled by the dance moves and great dancers in it. Thanks to my best frend who kept telling me how great was the movie and told me to watch it. I must say Step Up is one of the best dance movie ever, must watch in 3D!! Ohh....by the way, both Rick Malambri and Chadd Smith is oh so charming! Chadd Smith's robot dance is so darn cool!! Go go go watch it before it's gone.

One of my favourite dance scene when Chadd Smith do the robot rock! Awesome!!

Vampire Hype

This season everyone has been talkin about the movie Twilight, New Moon, and the series Vampire Diaries, Buffy the Vampire Slayer etc. Believe me or not, I haven't watch any of those. LOL! But the next vampire movie am gonna watch on top of my list is Let The Right One In, is a Swedish horror/drama film directed by Thomas Alfredson. Based on the novel of the same name by John Ajvide Lindqvist. The film tells the story of a bullied 12-year-old boy who develops a friendship with a vampire child in Stockholm in early 1980s. The film received "The Founders Award for Best Narrative Feature" at 2008 Tribeca Film Festival and "Best European Fantastic Feature Film" from the Swedish Film Institute. Matt Reeves has directed an English language version of this film, it will be released this year.

All talks about vampire movies, what about vampire fashion/beauty makeups?
Yeah! I've bought a vampire inspired nail color!

One weekend, I dropped by Colour Couture, which sells a complete range of OPI nail colors. One thing i love about OPI is their range is so complete and the vast varieties of different shades of color and tone they offered. Awesome! I describe the desired color to the Manicurist. My description was like this "I want a color which looks like dark more towards to black, but is not totally black. It also carries a hint of dark chocolate or dark red." She chose a handful of nail colors and tried them on my nails. Finally I found the color which match all descriptions above!

Tadaaaaaa.......OPI: All A-Bordeaux The Sled Nail Lacquer!
(Holiday Wishes collection, RM59)

Love the dark vampy red or brown color on my nails. It looks Gothic and similar color to dry blood color ya. Woohoo! Dark and super Shiny! Pardon me, as my skill on painting my nails is not superb.

It looks even more vampy at night! Vampire at work!

Do you love my new nail color? What's your favourite OPI color or other brands color?
My next OPI nail color on my top list will be A Good Mandarin Is Hard To Find (Hong Kong collection).

3 movies in a day

One crazy saturday afternoon, my bf and I had a movie marathon day. We watched "The batman". It was a good movie, according to my bf , it considered an AWESOME movie. The other 2 movies are featuring from the Japanese Film Festival. "Dora-Heita" and "Memories of Matsuko".

"Dora-heita" is directed by Kon Ichikawa from a script by Kon Ichikawa, Masaki Kobayashi, Keisuke Kinoshita, and Akira Kurosawa! Kohji Yakusho is the actor for Dora-Heita. He has long been known as a costume play actor, but this is first costume play film set in the Edo period, where he plays a role of a strong samurai named Mochizuki Koheita. I did some researched on him, now I understand why he looks familiar. He acted in some of the movies i have seen -"Babel", "Retribution", "Memoirs of Geisha", "Tampopo".

The movie is is based on the short story by Shugoro Yamamoto, called, "Machi Bugyou Nikki". Samurai Koheita Mochizuki, who goes by the nickname Dora-Heita, meaning "alley cat" or "playboy," pretends to be an alcoholic magistrate but is in actuality an envoy from the daimyo sent to clean up the corrupt and lawless town. His task is complicated by the unexpected arrival of his mistress Kosei.

It was a funny black and white movie, but I have fallen asleep for the first part of 20 mins movie. It's kinda slow pace movie for me, the actor plays very well on this role.

2nd movie is "Memories of Matsuko". This Japanese film is pubblish in 2006 written and directed by Tetsuya Nakashima. It is base on a Japanese novel by Muneki Yamada. The movie is about a girl name Matusko dreams of being married to a loved one. Her life is like a roller coasters, one moment you think she has found her loved one, yet turns out to be a disaster one. One relationship ends, life moves on and she met a new man, thought this man would give her a happy life and it ends up the the same as before or worst.

I love this movie, it is musical to the ears, fairy tale and fantasy-like to the eyes and the story is a tragedy one which tears ur heart and make you weep. Definitely worth watching it! The OST is great!
