Cupcake workshop!

Yesterday attended a fun learning cupcake workshop organised by Nuyou magazine at Cake Connection in JayaOne. Nancy, our instructor, frendly yet professional taught us how to bake the cupcakes, and demonstrates a few decorating tips. We had hands-on decorating on our cupcakes.
I decorated 4 cupcakes on my own! Which do you love to buy?? RM8 cheap cheap. LOL. Kidding not for sale. Mayb next time if am a master of cupcakes, then I can start selling them onine...in my dreamzzz.

Here continue to the 2nd cupcake fondant making. It's pretty challenging and need alot of preseverance, patience!! It's also fun coz is like Play-doh. This is what I did. Looks like came out from Prep-school!! Hahahah am very bad in this.

Biscuits Craze this CNY 2010~~~!!

Few weeks ago, I've spent RM100 on biscuits from Isetan, some pineapple cookies, cheese filling rolls, egg rolls, lou por peng. Call me crazy!! haha Some of them, I've planned to give parents, some gonna eat by myself. LOL...

Now, my recent biscuits haul from Yong Sheng Biscuits shop in Pyramid. I used to buy their delicious egg yolk pies, is their best seller!! Very yummy, love everything contains egg yolk!! :) For chinese new year cookies must try this, one of their best seller - Nyonya Sambal Tulles, has a hint of sambal in it. I bought this and cheese ball cookies. I think their green peas cookies also nice.

Now they havin promo, buy 3 tins of cookies, get a free choc cookies (in white tin).

Amy Beh Cookin' Demo @ Hotel Armada

Last Sunday at 2pm, me n my friend attended Amy Beh's cookin demo held in Hotel Armada, free! Thanks to Miu, who told me to call certain number to attend this free class. Too bad that she couldn't turn up, as last min she got no transport.

The coo kin demo started with the introduction of the multiple cooking steamer from I-chef. A special appearance of a local celebrity actress - Susan. So the cooking demo has a lot of promo on I-chef products such as the ozone disinfector and the steamer, and some other useful info chipped in on eating healthily.

Due to me came in late, so I've got a seat at the back row. Didn't get to see clearly Amy's cooking, but i could see it from the projector (which is quite blur). But luckily we have copies of the recipes on hand while looking at her cook.

She taught 3 Chinese new year dishes: Golden prosperity kuih, Abundance Every yr (Fish dish), and Fatt choy kai (chicken dish). We only tasted the kuih, as the organising team which is the I-chef group told us that the hotel policy is no food tasting allow in the conference room. How disappointing. Oh, by the way, all the dishes above are mostly steamed. using Ichef steamer.

Anyway when she cooked the fish dish, I left after that when they're starting to have lucky draws for whoever spends money to buy I-Chef cookware. I don't really find this cooking demo fruitful, maybe should have try Amy Beh's other cooking class which we could have a free hands- on cooking class.

Love Luca Lingerie @ Bangsar

Continue from last post on sunday event.... While i was shopping at Bangsar Telawi, spotted Tea and Sympathy boutique on the 3rd floor, above Cat Whisker's boutique. Very artsy boutique, with a limited collection of clothes. I tried on their very unique and classic look of dress and skirt, unfortunately I cant wear them, sigh need to loose some weight I guess. Hopefully in future they will have M or L size clothing on the rack, so I could take them home. ;)

There is also a rack of limited collection of very sinful, yet gorgeous and awesomely sexy lingeries from Love Luca Lingerie. Am a lingerie fan, I've collected Love Kylie lingerie, Ella McPherson's lingerie...I've got to say this Love Luca Lingerie is actually on par with the brands above. Good to know that such out of the world lingerie is selling here in Malaysia @ Tea and Sympathy Boutique. Keep it up!! This brightens my day, because I find that the major lingerie stores which open at our local shopping malls did not come up with such provocative lingerie such as Love Luca.

I have found a piece of info from the net, that Love Luca Lingerie offers free shipping within Malaysia. It's time for babes to shop for Valentine's day to surprise our bf or husband. ;) Besides that, another exciting news is Love Luca Lingerie is having an event on March!!
