明洞餃子 (Myeong-dong Gyoza) @ Seoul

If you are in Myeong-dong, you wouldn't wanna miss this place.

A popular place where locals and backpackers go to.

Belif or not, I actually was finding this shop and when I saw the queue in front of a shop, and then i looked up to see the name of the shop, only to realise this is what I have been searching for! In Korea, if you see there's people queue infront of a restaurant means the food is good and worth to que!! Follow this rule, you won't go wrong.

We queued about 20-25 mins to get a table. Not tat long actually, becoz most Koreans they will straight away leave after eating. That's the culture difference, we Malaysians like to chit chat and hang around in the restaurant after eating.

The menu is very limited, we ordered 3 dishes! This is Kongguksu (8,000 won) - chilled soya milk noodle soup. A cold soya milk soup with noodles, cucumbers, sesame seeds, pretty interesting to me! I kinda like it, subtle sesame seed frgrant and smooth texture green noodles.

Gyoza, I think they call it Mandoo (8,000 won), must order this, famous dish here. It looks like siu long pao, but it's HUGE! Outer layer skin is pretty thin and the fillings are alot. After eating this, my tummy feels like it's gonna explode!

Calguksu (8,000 won) - knife cut noodles. I think tis is their type of ramen. I can't finished them, the noodles are just too much! Among the 3 dishes, this is my least favourite, the taste rather bland.

There's 2 branches here, both on the same road, both located at both ends of the street. The one I went is at the upper street, which has Woori bank at the corner.

Direction: Myeong-dong station, exit 7. The upper street branch located next to H&M outlet. The other branch located near Watson.

Address:  25-2, 2-ka Myoung-dong, Chung-gu, Seoul, South Korea
Tel: 02-776-5348

Along the same street, you will spot this ice-cream stall selling  big size, tall ice-cream and crowds que-ing infront of the stall. You might wanna try them. :)

Labour day - time for shopping!

Went to the newly opened Sephora infront of Starhill. Quite a crowd inside Sephora. Saw many different brands of cosmetics on different racks that made my eyes pop!

There's actually way too many things I wanted to put into the basket, but i try to resist myself, so finally settle for a Sephora 3-action cleansing water RM39. The cashier gave me a stack of poscards attached with Hugo Boss latest perfume samples, a Baviphat Lemon Whitening Sleeping Pack and Apple AC Therapy Sleeping Pack and Burt's Bees Nourishing Milk & Honey Body Lotion. Sephora defnitely not stingy on giving samples! :)

Next stop, Uniqlo!! I went crazy when i reached the entrance, array of exclusive Cath Kidston Charity Project collection of floral designed tops were right infront of my eyes!!!  I screamed in my heart! Oh, how could i resist all these beautiful pieces of art?? I really really hope i could take them all!

This season Uniqlo brings in exclusive collection designed by British designer Cath Kidston to raise funds for the Japanese Organization for International Cooperation in Family Planning(JOICFP), a charitable non-governmental organization. Uniqlo and Cath Kidstoon will make donations from the net proceeds of sale to fund an initiative supporting a safe motherhood program in Zambia. What's best in shopping is when you know some of the money goes to charity too! :)

It took me a few hours (erm becoz it was raining outside and so am stucked there while waiting for the rain to stop) to try a few pieces of my selection! Well i was fickle-minded and it's a pretty tough job to choose which to take home. Finally I bought 2 Cath Kidsto's floral tops (NP:RM59.90, now Promo: RM39.90) and a Uniqlo lace embroided near the collar of the blouse (RM24.90).

Am glad that they packed the clothes in a Cath Kidston paper bag too! <3

The aroma of the pizza is heavenly! All my favourite red meat spread all over the pizza, what a sight! :)
Tomatoes, beef bacon, beef pepperoni, cheese sausage, lamb chorizo, chicken and mozzarella spread on top of crust crispy pizza. Delisiozo!

I was so full till I cant even walk, but my Mr. longed to try their dessert pizza. Lucky the portion is not as big as the main course pizza. We picked pears, almonds, butterscotch and mascarpone dessert pizza (RM12.90), taste yummy, reminds me how much I have missed the Dutch dessert pizza I had in London. You guys must try this definitely.

Lancome UV Expert Bright Eyes SPF 50 PA+++ BB Base

"Do you know the skin around our eyes is different from the rest of the face? Skincare experts always recommend the use of specific serum or cream for the skin around the eye; but what about sun protection for this most delicate skin?"

I was lucky to receive an invitation to attend Lancome product review session on their latest product - Lancome UV Expert Bright Eyes SPF 50 PA+++ BB Base!  This is their first mineral Eye BB Base formulated by Lancome UV Science and BB expertise for optimal tolerance and ultimate eye perfection.
It offers an instant brightening and beautifying "Blemish Balm" result, effectively conceal the imperfections and dark circles.

The formula of Lancome UV Expert Bright Eye SPF 50 PA +++
  • lightweight texture
  • high power
  • mineral sunscreen with optimal eye contour tolerance.

Zamri, Lancome Design Artist applied Lancome UV Expert Bright Eyes on one side of my face. See the difference??

Dark circles are women's nightmare, am not sure about you, but I am definitely one. Besides, we woman expresses ourselves through our eyes and the people usually say "Eyes are like the windows to your soul". Therefore we need to take special care to make them more expressive and beautiful.

 How do i look now?
I look so fresh and visibly radiant looking on my eyes area which i thought my eyes sparkled too!! :)
(photo without touch up)

Things that I concern about are uneven tone on the eye area, dark circles and dark spots due to sun exposure, and signs of aging - the appearance of crow's feet. Now Lancome UV Expert Bright Eyes could re-lightened eye contour by provide a good camouflage, preserved from premature aging and brown spots from re-occurring. Best of all, I love the texture!! It's super light as a feather! No more thick concealer cream which makes my under eye  looks cakey and oily which later produce oil seeds under my eyes. I usually loathe concealers that fails to conceal my dark circle. The above picture already put my current concealer to shame seriously. This definitely will be in my list of top 10 -things-in-women's bag, its easy to use as touch up or as eye makeup BB base. The retail price is RM125 for 15ml.

Method to apply UV Expert Bright Eyes:

After step 5, topped off with brushing your loose powder over it for a finished look.

Me and Fatin lookin' effortlessly flawless here under the hands of Zamri! :)
